Tempo is a premonitory work, started at the age of 20 and finished 12 years after the beginning of the work. For more than 10 years, the desire never to have to depend economically on what I wanted to remain totally free from "conditioning" made me become completely absorbed in work.
The clock set on the 18th day, my birth date, at 8:05, my time of birth, is the metaphor of my life. The man devouring the book represents the thirst for culture and the empty canvas that for 12 long years awaited my return.

HAPPINESS? IT'S USELESS TO LOOK FOR IT OUTSIDE

We often meet rich but unhappy people, other times we happen to meet people who live with the bare minimum and yet are happy.
Everything material you can acquire (gold, jewels, expensive cars) will be like soap bubbles for your happiness; the moment you have them in your hands, you will realize they will not give you the happiness you hoped for.
Hands like telescopes but the lack of eyes, the presence outside of these soap bubbles is meant to metaphorically represent the futility of searching outside oneself.

series; TROMPE L'OEIL I have created many Trompe l'oeil works, I am fascinated by surprising the viewer with objects or figures that suddenly materialize on the home wall. Very impactful, the important thing is not to be banal.

series: INVISIBLE ENERGIES Already in the title the provocation is evident, intended as provoking a positive attitude in the viewer, the desire of the viewer to seek form in what apparently is informal, it leads them to look at the work with their own eyes and they will discover things that are theirs and not mine.

No matter how much you study, you will never understand contemporary art if you don't put something of yourself into it. When faced with contemporary works, the gaze of the child without preconceptions that surely still lives within you will help you and will let you enjoy emotions you had forgotten.

series: INVISIBLE ENERGIES The flood is over, the animals land on the earth, familiar and less familiar figures, fantastic creatures, those that existed and are extinct or purely imaginary, repopulate the planet, even an astronaut has joined the group, many figures are hidden but visible to the more attentive viewer.
